Painting

First let me say, the color is not near as bright as it appears in the pic. It is a much more muted blue, called Seacove Blue. Only one more wall to paint in the living room. The kitchen is another story. It looks like a rainbow threw up in there! I think I'm gonna have to Kilz it and start over. Ugh! Why do I start these projects? And Traci, no comments about how many times I've painted my kitchen. Girl, you've got me beat 20 times over! lol!

Another one for you Tiger Girls

A couple from Louisiana and a couple from the East Coast were seated side by side on an airplane. The girl from Louisiana , being friendly and all, said, 'So where ya'll from?'

The East Coast girl said, 'From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence.'

The girl from Louisiana sat quietly for a few moments and then replied:

'So, where ya'll from, bitch?'

Father and Son Campout

Jimmy and Luke just left our the first annual Class of 2020 boys' campout! One little person was so excited while the bigger one was not so. Not his idea of fun to spend Friday night with 10 2nd grade boys. oh well, I'm happy to be home alone. Did I just say that?

Geezem petes! who thinks of these things?

"These are the perfect solution for those unruly diaper changes, when baby boys seek revenge on the person allowing cool air to hit their Nether Regions. Often times, they start spraying pee the minute that diaper comes off. Crazy how that happens.
Here's the solution. Just plop one of these Wigwams on top while you're wiping, situating, unfolding the diaper, etc. And if they soil it, just toss it in the washer for next time. Easy as that."

seriously, who sits around and thinks "today i am going to make a cover for my baby boy's winkee. some people need more to do. (yeah, yeah, maybe me too since I am writing about this). we definitely don't need anymore paraphanalia to encourage men to think more highly of their privates than they already do. And this would be starting them from birth! geez! just gotta give you people something fun for the day. you're welcome.

my men working hard

Andrew when I picked him up from his duties. He was pretty happy to be done!

Noah baling.

Jimmy picking up with the stacker. one day i'll get him a cab tractor!

The boys are a BIG help to Jimmy and really like working with their daddy. If we fail at everything else, our boys are sure to have a good work ethic. We are so thankful for the good weather for baling. Looks like we'll still get to eat this winter! haha!

MJ

So have you heard, Michael Jackson was "murdered?" I am so sick of hearing about MJ. Enough already, he's dead. Sure I enjoyed his music and can remember sitting outside with my friend, Deanne from middle school, listening to "Thriller". I could only do that at her house because my parents wouldn't let me listen to that kind of music. (Of course, I could listen to country music about getting drunk, sleeping around, going to prison, etc.--lol!) Anyway, but the man is dead and leave it alone. The way I see it, he was taking multiple drugs and having trouble sleeping so the doctor probably gave him what he asked for. He was a FREAK! not that freaks deserve to die, but . . . . I'm just saying. There are more important stories that should be told on the news right now. Enough!

Ok, I'm off my soap box . . . for now that is!

WOW! is all I can say

Oh my! you gotta watch this video of this GORGEOUS guy's audition for the British version of American Idol. The dude has pipes! and not too bad to look at either. Ladies, enjoy!

Our Weekend in pics

Katie and I playing together. Can't believe she started pre-K.

Me and sweet Baby Kendall. I am seriously thinking I need one of these!

We ended the day with supper at Mama and Daddy's. Good food and so good to see everyone. We live so close yet hardly get together. Everyone is always so busy. Anyway, these pics are for you, Aunt Maxine.

Boys being boys!

Matthew A. visited with us a few days during July and Andrew and the others were so happy to have him here. Andrew and he have been friends since they were in playgoup together at age one and his mother is one of my dearest friends! So cool to watch their relationship evolve. Even with all the miles that separates them, they are the best of friends as soon as they are together. Add a little mud and you've got an instant connection!

You might be a redneck IF . . . .

you ride your horse bareback, in your school uniform, with only a leadrope on your horse, with your crocs on.

(or if a dog sings at your uncle's funeral--only a few of you will get that one).

Tootle-Bug

as I call her. Don't know why. She's just sooo darn cute that it's fun to make up funny names and call her. But I've called her "Tootle-Bug" ever since the first time I kept her when she was two weeks old. And look how big she is getting. My sweet Emma is sooooooooo precious! She spent last Friday afternoon with me and I couldn't have enjoyed it more!
