Sooo earlier this week, I was wondering if/when I was committed to sing at the Baptist church so I text Dr. J, the preacher and this is the conversation.
Me: Have I committed to any Sunday in May to sing?
Dr. J: Yes, this Sunday. Two songs. Can't wait to hear you.
Me: You are kidding, right?
Dr. J: Um, No, we talked about it. May 2. Two songs. You.
Me: Um, Ok, I can come up with something.
Dr. J: Good, cuz otherwise, we got nothin!
Yeah, its obvious that I am not with it these days. So glad I contacted him, otherwise this Baptist girl would have been a noshow and that would not have been good.
